Dayforce Implementations Consultant – HCM

With the opening of our Cape Town office, we are excited to grow our local capability and are now hiring an Integration Consultant. While Dayforce expertise is not yet established in South Africa, this role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in a similar HR, payroll, or ERP platform (i.e. Kronos/UKG) who is eager to be trained up on Dayforce. You’ll play a key role in connecting Dayforce and other HR systems to the wider tech ecosystem. From payroll interfaces to identity management and reporting tools, you’ll design, build, and test secure, scalable integrations that make systems talk — reliably and efficiently.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Cape Town. 3days in the office 8-5pm. If you’re applying from another location, please be aware relocation to Cape Town will be required and would need to be arranged personally.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Design and implement integrations between Dayforce and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, finance, benefits, identity)
Work with clients to understand and gather technical requirements, data formats, and security protocols
Build integration specifications, transformation logic, and API mappings
Configure or code integrations using supported platforms or middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, SnapLogic, custom APIs)
Conduct integration testing and troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with clients and vendors to solve them
Support go-live activities and provide post-launch technical activities

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

This role provides a unique opportunity for a proactive and driven individual. We are looking for applicants who have:

Strong understanding of APIs, file-based integrations (CSV/XML/JSON), and middleware
Experience working with HCM systems — Dayforce a strong advantage
Good grasp of authentication protocols (SFTP, OAuth, etc.) and data privacy requirements
Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
Able to communicate technical detail clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications:

Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical/analytical field; equivalent experience considered.
Experience: 2–3 years in HCM consulting, system implementation, and solution design. Dayforce experience preferred, but exposure to other enterprise HCM platforms (Kronos, UKG etc.) is also relevant.
Certifications: HCM platform or enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., Dayforce, UKG, Kronos) are a strong advantage.
